What is beauty

Not what looks good to me. What a group of us can feel is good for each of us, and that can really happen.

Not “what looks good for me”

Beauty is not your standard understanding of what looks good for me. Beauty is a consensus among people. Beauty is what’s good for everyone.

If it only feels good for me, it becomes what we call extreme beauty: a beauty that only one side feels, pushed until it tips everything around it. It burns bright and doesn’t last, because it doesn’t make anyone grow.

If nobody else feels it, look at yourself first. The picture of beauty you grew up with is yours, and your own limits are inside it.

You feel it in your body

Beauty is something you can feel in your body, not just explain rationally. Our language has been polluted by advertising, so beauty is not a word. It’s a feeling everyone can recognise before anyone explains it.

So when we create something, we make it so that it feels good in the body of the people who receive it. We create with love and compassion for them.

Beauty and truth, the two poles

Beauty is one of the two poles of yin and yang. Yang is beauty, yin is truth, and beauty should always be balanced with truth.

Truth asks: can this really happen? Beauty asks: does it feel good for everyone? Something beautiful that can’t happen is a hallucination. Something that works but isn’t good for everyone is taking from others. Only when both are strong does anything real get made.

They check each other. A feeling of beauty is strong, but fear or an old trauma can hide inside it, so the brain tests it with truth. And truth without beauty goes nowhere, because beauty is what moves us to look for the best way.

a general formula for the creative process. It's easier to stay in this loop once you understand it. Consensus isn't only between people; it's also between your heart and your brain.

Keep the heart open

Feeling beauty is your heart’s main ability. You should raise it, and make sure your heart is open for it. If your heart is closed, you are not able to sense beauty, and creative work is blocked.

What closes the heart is fear. That’s why getting rid of fear matters so much: otherwise the heart closes, the loop stops, and you get depressed.

Beauty is a direction

Beauty is the direction that leads us. It is also an ability: the more you raise it, the more you can feel. And only the beauty that makes a person grow gets even more beautiful with time.

Robots will be great at execution. Humans will say what to create.

Beauty is a prompt

The way we perceive everything in the world is first through the heart, through the senses. That is what we need to build into AI architecturally, next to the rationality it already has.

Beauty is the prompt: because you feel beauty, you think of beautiful ideas. Knowledge you can get by asking AI; a sense of beauty you can’t. It learns that from us.

That is also why we make art, music and parties rather than arguments. Art is a language that prompts other people’s feelings.

Is it fear leading me, or beauty?

Someone will ask: how do I make sure my feelings aren’t lying to me? Number 7 is the answer. Before any decision, check inside: is it fear leading me, or beauty?

Fear makes us settle. We take the safe job, the safe choice, because we’re afraid. We call that the trap. When beauty leads, the universe usually has something better prepared for us. That’s fortune.

Beauty in our numbers

Beauty isn’t one step of the Universal Model. It runs through all of it. Follow it:

    Feel it. Beauty is where everything starts: calm down, focus, and the energy comes.

    Make it real. Truth: you know it can happen, and then it happens.

    Focus it. Pearl. Make your 0 and 1 harmonious, so you can feel beauty and ground it with truth at the same time.

    Tell it. Stories. Only true and beautiful stories last; the more of them there are, the fewer false and ugly ones, because attention is finite.

    Build the place for it. Izumo, the No-Worry Space. What beautiful thing do you want to happen?

    Check it. Truth and beauty test each of the five elements: can it happen, and is it good for everyone?

    Become it. Awakened, independent souls, each one complete, each becoming their most beautiful self.

    Bring it home. A free soul grounded in a home, so beauty has a place to live and grow. Where freedom meets home.

The most beautiful self

The goal of the whole project is simple to say: a system where people can become their most beautiful self. Not richer. More beautiful. That is what the design is for, and it is what humanity needs to make it through the AI era.

The world around you is your mirror. Where you put your attention is the reality you enter. So becoming your most beautiful self is also how the world around you becomes more beautiful.

Let beauty lead

That’s why the first of our three mantras is let beauty lead. Create with beauty; don’t lead with proving yourself. The other two are lines to check any idea against: love is the key, fun is the way.
